We are having a great summer here in the capital with loads of sunshine and people are all enjoying the rise in temperature!
However often clients are arriving for their waxing appointments all hot and bothered! The journey on the underground can be a bit of a nightmare at times with little or no air cooling or ventilation and some of the tube networks are much deeper underground.
So travelling with a bottle of water is essential to keep hydrated whilst you are on the move.
We are located centrally on Upper Street in Islington and have the benefit of being positioned between both tube stations: Angel (northern line) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria line) it's about a six minute walk from either station straight up the road.
But there are many other options of transport to get here and some of these may keep you cooler and be a lot less stressful. Check out some alternatives to being stuck underground for ages...

North london line (overground) comes into Highbury & Islington
DLR connects from Docklands and Canary Wharf and it's only 3 stops from Bank to Angel
Bus services from west end / City / Waterloo all good fast services
As with all transport it's always best to check out your route on the day on the TFL website.
Arriving for your appointment on time and not having to rush is better as you are not getting even hotter.
So allow enough time for your journey and Upper Street has lots of cafés and shops to entertain you for a few minutes if you arrive early.
Bring a clean t shirt with you ( for upper body waxing) as it will help after your waxing to get your aftercare off yo a good start!
Most importantly follow your aftercare advice....freshly waxed follicles, sweat and friction is never a good combination!!
