New Directory of Male Waxing Therapists

I am currently working on some changes to my website which will be adding a directory of 'Approved Male Waxing Therapists'' to my main waxing website (www.jackdunn.co.uk) as soon as the waxing school is up and running to list therapists/ salons in various areas that will be offering male waxing treatments. 

I get regular emails and requests from men all over the country asking if I can recommend a therapist or know if anyone who offers male waxing treatments in certain locations, both in london and areas within the UK and I generally just suggest that they google waxing in their area to see what comes up but having the directory listed on my website will be helpful for these clients. 

The listings on my website will be free for therapists / salons that will have been trained by myself. These therapists will have to meet a criteria which will include: 

Using Perron Rigot wax and waxing products 

Retailing a range of waxing aftercare products for male clients

Providing excellent aftercare advice cards/ web information  ( especially for new clients). 

The benefit of having the listing on my main waxing site rather than linked to my waxing school website  is that this is the site that comes up when new clients use Google or other search engines when they are trying to find a therapist for their male waxing treatments. 

Having worked really hard for many years to establish my waxing service for male clients I have built up a good male grooming service. I shall continue to promote my brand through marketing, continued SEO work to maintain the ranking of my website and the usual social media channels. With the introduction of my waxing school I will be spending less time providing waxing treatments myself especially for new clients so having this list on my website will be beneficial.  

When new therapists want to promote their business it can take a long time and a lot of very hard work to get your website ranked and for clients to find you. Together with the cost of Google Adwords or using a SEO company to help promote your business can cost several hundred pounds per month. 

Each of these free listings  will include the business name, link to the website,  details of the location and areas that will be covered by this therapist and their Facebook / Twitter page.

When we launch our waxing training school (very soon)  we will be offering free courses for the first few weeks for students who want to learn male waxing techniques. 

These courses will include male intimate waxing training, male full body waxing training and also for our Male Grooming workshop. These free places will be selected from students who are fans of our waxing school  Facebook page (who like our page ) and we will post details of how you can enter into a draw over the next few weeks so just keep an eye on our page.

Keeping cool and wax on !!

We are having a great summer here in the capital with loads of sunshine and people are all enjoying the rise in temperature! 

However often clients are arriving for their waxing appointments all hot and bothered! The journey on the underground can be a bit of a nightmare at times with little or no air cooling or ventilation and some of the tube networks are much deeper underground. 

So travelling with a bottle of water is essential to keep hydrated whilst you are on the move. 

We are located centrally on Upper Street in Islington and have the benefit of being positioned between both tube stations: Angel (northern line) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria line)  it's about  a six minute walk from either station straight up the road. 

But there are many other options of transport to get here and some of these may keep you cooler and be a lot less stressful. Check out some alternatives to being stuck underground for ages...

Essex road train station with connections from the city just around the corner on Essex road. 

North london line (overground) comes into Highbury & Islington 

DLR connects from Docklands and Canary Wharf and it's only 3 stops from Bank to Angel 

Bus services from west end / City / Waterloo  all good fast services  

As with all transport it's always best to check out your route on the day on the TFL website. 

Arriving for your appointment on time and not having to rush is better as you are not getting even hotter. 

So allow enough time for your journey and Upper Street has lots of cafés and shops to entertain you for a few minutes if you arrive early. 

Bring a clean t shirt with you ( for upper body waxing) as it will help after your waxing to get your aftercare off yo a good start! 

Most importantly follow your aftercare advice....freshly waxed follicles, sweat and friction is never a good combination!!
