How Non Strip Wax Can Provide You With a More Comfortable Form of Hair Removal

Throughout recent years, an increasing number of men have become interested in keeping themselves well-groomed. While a lot of men still would never set foot inside a salon, "manscaping" (also known as the removal of male body hair) is gaining in popularity. While being a furry beast is still preferred by some men (and appreciated by some women), there's nothing wrong with wanting to be smooth all over.

Body hair, at one time, served a purpose; that purpose being to help the body retain heat. Men and women both develop body hair after puberty and this is completely natural. However, today it is no longer a necessary part of survival. Somewhere along the line, human beings began to be offended by unneeded hair growing upon their bodies. Fortunately for these people, there are some relatively simple and pain-free ways to remove it.

Shaving is one of the easiest ways to get rid of body hair. However, there are drawbacks. Stubble grows in quickly after shaving and there is also the threat of razor burn. There are many gadgets on the market to help people rid themselves of body hair, but one of the most sought after approaches is that of body waxing.

There are two basic kinds of waxes for hair removal. One is strip waxing; the other is non-strip (also known as hot-wax). Strip waxing is great at removing large patches of hair on larger parts of the body. With this method, a sticky warm wax is smeared on the area, a paper strip or muslin cloth is applied over it, and the hair is pulled out as the strip is quickly removed.

The non-strip approach is better for removing hair on sensitive parts of the body. There are no  paper strips or cloths applied over this wax; it forms its own strip. There was once a time when hot-wax had to be heated to temperatures that were almost unbearable to the skin. Today, however, this is no longer the case. What was once hot wax is now warm wax, making application much more comfortable.

If you have very course, short hairs, non-strip wax does a great job of grabbing a hold of them. When the wax dries on the body, it shrinks and encapsulates even the tiniest of hairs. It's not as messy as strip-wax, and the procedure for male grooming may end up taking less time. When it comes to pain, having hair yanked out is never comfortable, but many people feel that non-strip wax is more tolerable than strip wax on sensitive skin and therefore a much more suitable method for male intimate waxing treatments.
